the intramural sports program provides a large array of activities for students, faculty/staff, and alumni regardless of skill level, free of charge! participation in these events teach sportsmanship, teamwork, and create meaningful memories that can last a lifetime.
the colorado mesa university intramural sports program is built on the foundation of providing opportunities which are available to all students, faculty and staff.
intramural sports are competitions, and activities put on within the parameters of the university. this means you create teams and compete with your fellow mavs here at cmu. the cmu intramural program provides: officials, scorekeepers, assistance with team organization or sign ups on imleagues.com, and scheduling games, tournaments, and other extracurricular activities.
new to intramural sports?
open leagues and events are open to anyone. you can have teams with anyone as well. these activities are meant to be more recreational than competitive so come join in the fun and stay involved.
corec leagues and events involve an equal amount of females and males on the court/field at ounce. volleyball is played with 6 players so 3 must be women and 3 must be men. we will allow teams to play 1 player down in which case there could be 3 women and 2 men or vice versa, making a difference of 1.
