cmu has expanded operations to provide free covid-19 testing in mesa county for the general public. communications are sent from our testing partner, confirmation and result messages will be sent from primarybio. the testing site is located at 1280 cannell avenue (additional location details below).

- you can test whether or not you are exhibiting symptoms
- results will be sent via text/email within approximately 24-48 hours

the testing site will be closed on december 24, 25, 31 and january 1 for the holidays.

the campus testing site is located in the white tents in the bunting hall parking lot (1280 cannell avenue). please enter the parking lot from cannell avenue or bunting avenue, there will be directional signage to guide you to the testing site location. drive-thru and walk-up lanes are available. when you arrive at your test time, please have your testing confirmation readily available.
before the start of the fall semester, colorado mesa university performed baseline viral testing for all members of the campus community. this strategy required every member of the cmu community (students, faculty and staff) be tested for covid-19 3-7 days prior to returning to campus.
details on spring semester baseline testing will be published in january.
at the start of fall classes, cmu began utilizing random sampling for detection testing of students, faculty and/or staff which continued throughout the fall semester. members of the cmu community randomly selected for testing receive a notification via cmu email and/or text message. testing must be completed that week.
